SS: Nature Republic Hawaiian Fresh Seaweed Pack [peel-off] Review

Hello~

Today I have a Nature Republic Hawaiian Fresh Seaweed Pack Peel-off Review! I purchased this on my trip to Hawaii a few weeks ago, and I tried it last week. This was my first time trying a peel-off mask, so yeah I was much more excited than I should have been.

The packaging is nice: it's an eazy-squeezy tube! I really like the design for Nature Republic products. They look clean and fresh and colorful!

The saleslady told me this was good for acne, blackheads, sebum, enlarged pores, etc.

Ingredients and directions.

The consistency is very sticky and slimy! I've only used clay masks in the past, so I was not expecting this "difficult" formula. You really got to work on it to spread it evenly over your face. By the time I was done, my whole hand was covered in slime!

Yup my pimples never go away~ You can tell the mask is on my face because it looks like I dove into a swamp and haven't showered for days.

Remember to peel from your chin up to your forehead! This way your skin won't stretch in the wrong ways/giving you wrinkles.

Still peeling~

I thought this was extremely cool. I've never felt like peeling something off from my skin like this.

The remains.

Wooooo looks weird!!

Close-up of the mask. It has tiny seaweed particles! It's a very thin layer otherwise.

Overall, I like the mask! As my first peel-off mask, I can't really compare it to others, but I think if I used this every week or so, my skin would start improving. The mask peeled off very easily, and after I rinsed off the remains, my skin felt tighter and cleaner. I think this would really help with sebum control, especially in the summer.

Scent: For the scent, I actually couldn't smell the seaweed until I started peeling it off. I smelled the mask in its liquid form, and it had a really nice smell, like those typical Korean skincare products smell? It's not too fragrant, but still pleasant to smell while you're applying the mask.

Price: I thought the price was reasonable for the mask. I can't find the receipt, but it wasn't too much for the amount and quality of the product. I think this will last me for at least 6 months if I used it every week or biweekly.

This mask is for oily, acne-prone skin with blackheads, whiteheads, sebum, enlarged pores, etc.
If you have sensitive, dry, brittle skin, I would recommend you steer away from this product, as it might be too drying. Of course, if your T-zone is oily and has enlarged pores, go ahead!

'Til next time!
